(or even if you are not) and are ever near Hannibal, Mo., the Main Street Kitchen has saffron - it's really affordable and comes in a cute glass jar too! I didn't think I would be able to find it here, but I got it there and got a great deal on it!McKenziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03646261665898637257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3317311213480674262.post-48779743383808354122008-10-24T08:47:00.000-05:002008-10-24T08:47:00.000-05:00I've never seen pot pie in a nine by thirteen and ...I've never seen pot pie in a nine by thirteen and I'm smitten. I found a little bottle of saffron there for $5.99 and there was enough in it for a couple of recipes at least. (I'm just nuts about saffron after these last two recipes...)Audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14912114716426828436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3317311213480674262.post-32286224872651808742008-10-23T10:55:00.000-05:002008-10-23T10:55:00.000-05:00Brilliant idea.I should have done that.Brilliant idea.

I should have done that.chocolatechichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16926192602146485028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3317311213480674262.post-37298333362957920502008-10-23T09:28:00.000-05:002008-10-23T09:28:00.000-05:00Yum! I completely forgot to add the cream -- oops! Maybe that would have helped with the "dry" issue I had. And I skipped the little onions -- my instinct is always to pick out whole little onions out of my food, so I decided that I'd just save myself the trouble to begin with. I'm so glad that your family enjoyed this - I find that I never mind the work when everyone is happy in the end.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18212460245206539222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3317311213480674262.post-78284651762110804902008-10-23T09:12:00.000-05:002008-10-23T09:12:00.000-05:00Yours looks so much better than mine! I could eat it again today if I had any left over!Peggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12442588077162573131noreply@blogger.com
